"It's a week now" David heard as he sat down on the seat. It's been a week since David transferred to the university. He stayed at the dorm most of the time with his roommates.
The sound of people entering the hall made David turn back. The change in the atmosphere was obvious to everyone including David. It was obvious that the four that walked were the cause of the change in the atmosphere.
A conversation at his back brought his attention back to class. The tension was clear to other student but to also David who was new. Three guys and a girl moved down the row to take their seats. A sound brought David out of his thoughts. The girl dropped her bag on an empty seat beside her making him realise the seat was off limits.
"Told you she wouldn't show up" A student had said. Making David wonder who they were talking about. It was clear that said girl was part of the group but hasn't been at the uni in a while.
"Heard she'd be at school tomorrow, most times she goes MIA for a week then comes back more ... You get it"
David didn't know what came over him, but the next thing he knew, he was already asking...
"Sorry, who are you talking about?" The words were out before he could take them back.
"Greer". The two replied monotonously.

"Hey! She already said she was sorry. What more do you want?!" I screamed loudly in his face. His face turned from angry to shocked. No one had ever yelled at him that way at school before. He narrowed his eyes at me."She ruined a very expensive shirt so she needs to be punished for it," he responded, his green eyes lit with hate and anger. "So?! You probably have a million other shirts just like it. You spoiled rich boys have no respect for others. You think you're better than everyone else. Well, let me tell you, you are the worst of the worst." I said. I couldn't believe what I had just said. I realized I had given myself a death sentence as the words flew out my mouth. Duke was quiet for a few moments then he finally replied. "You better watch what you say girly," he said as he brushed past my shoulder. His two buddies following him from behind. I couldn't believe what I just did. It felt so invigorating. I felt as though I had an adrenalin rush. I knew that this feeling would not last for long though because I just gave the H3 a new target. "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone.
