Becoming a world-renowned artist has been the lifelong dream for Riley McGrath. She lives, sleeps, and breathes art. But after she fails to get into art college, Riley soon realizes that artistic greatness isn't so easily achieved. After finally admitting to herself that she'll never be the artists she's always dreamed of becoming, she puts aside the thought and sets her sights on more realistic goals. That is until the day a mysterious boy named TJ suddenly appears in her life and changes the way she'll look at art forever. TJ convinces Riley to spend an afternoon at Jamestown, Rhode Island's annual art festival. What was supposed to be a day filled with fun and lightheartedness turns out to be an unceasingly beautiful nightmare. At the art festival, Riley is given a seemingly ordinary wooden chest from a stranger, which inside contains a single paintbrush. But as time unfolds, Riley discovers that the paintbrush was crafted by the very hands of Leonardo da Vinci and when using it, everything she paints comes to life!
