I strongly recommend reading it again from the beginning, because this new version is far more than a simple edit. I have changed almost everything surrounding the pacing, character development, story details, background, atmosphere, and worldbuilding. Looking back, I felt that the original world and its characters were still too underdeveloped, while the story moved too quickly and relied too heavily on action for the kind of plot and atmosphere I wanted to create. Because of that, I deleted entire chapters, added completely new ones, expanded important scenes, changed major parts of the story, developed the characters and world more deeply, and revised the overall writing style. To put the extent of the changes into perspective: the original version had approximately 66,000 words. This new version has around 80,000 words.
