The dark forest warriors have won the final battle, making Starclan powerless of the fate of the clans. And to punish them for being rebellious towards them, they created: The Hunter Games, a battle to the death between the 24 selected cats from each of the 12 clans on a piece of land that no clan knows the exact location. Each clan sends a tom and a she-cat to fight, selected very carefully by a warrior of the dark forest.
This is the story of two young cats chosen to fight in the harsh games. Follow their paw steps as they try to survive leaf-bare, scarce prey, and other cats whose main concerns are not only to survive.

She desperately tries to fight her possesser in her dreams - where she can be herself - but he beats her every single time. Now Snowberry fears she'll never get back to Thistlestorm. Will the Clans be able to beat the rising darkness? Or will they fall in their last battle and create a forest of blood? Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her.
