Treehouse: Book One Earth is the only planet that has life. That's what Calla Wilson, high school senior, has been taught all her life. We as the human race are alone in the universe. Like most high schoolers, Calla struggles with day to day things like math, remembering the plot of this year's Shakespeare play, and grappling with the knowledge that at the cusp of their youth, Calla and her friends aren't as immortal as they think they are. When Calla's ex-girlfriend Abigail is killed in a car accident after the Homecoming football game, Calla finds herself searching her own life for answers. The answers we seek aren't the answers we usually find. The only place that Calla can find her answers is another world, torn apart by a vindictive king set on living forever.
