I needed to run. I couldn't be here anymore. My summer fling, a guy named Jacob was after me. He wanted me, and not in the sweet romance way, he wanted me dead. He wanted to see my take my last breath. He wanted me gone. All because I ended what we had. I tried a summer fling for the first time and my guy turns out to be physco! I needed to go. Now.
Emma Davis, a normal teenager going into her last year of highschool. Although during the summer, it didn't go as planned. You see, all of Emma's friends had boyfriend's or had a fling over the summer. Although Emma never had that, and she thought this summer was going to be the one. Everything goes well, until Emma decides to end it because the school year is coming up and summer is coming to an end. Except her summer fling doesn't want to end it, and when Emma doesn't agree with him and ends things for good he gets mad. He still wants Emma, just not in that way, he wants her dead. If Emma wasn't going to be with him, she wasn't going to be with anyone else either.
Emma now needs to move schools, find a new place to live in, meet new people, and stay away and hidden from her physco summer fling, and yet in the middle of all that she thinks she might be falling in love for one of the baddest guys in her new school. Can she handle all this? Will Jacob find her and finish her? Will she be able to live her life without fear?
With love and hate, with pain and regret, with twists and turns. Emma is in for a ride a ride she and nobody else is ready to experience.
