A long time ago people their souls had colors. That color represtented the strength, brightness and ability  one's soul had. Suddenly the Prisma's, the ones with the strongest souls showed up dead. This continued until the very last Prisma had fallen. 
A thousand years went by and humanity comepletly forgot about colored souls and the extinction of Prisma's. But one day a special girl started getting visions at night and people started to randomly dissapear once again.

They felt as that not being able to see color would stop civil unrest and discriminatory barriers, and by the time they met their soulmate people would be mature enough to make proper societal decisions. Linnea, the story's main character, believes her childhood best friend is her soulmate, but she soon learns that there are tricks to this color system. Sometimes, color can be falsely seen in faint hues and sometimes, the person you thought was your soulmate really isn't. When she meets Jade, she learns that perhaps your soulmate isn't exactly the person you imagined.
