Elle is new to this state. She never wanted to leave her old town but her mother got a new job and they were forced to move. Her mother met a man named Bryan. Bryan is a raging alcoholic and Elle can't stand it. Her home is crumbling to pieces so she finds an escape in the Willow Tree in the forest by a pond. Little does she know, a boy named Colby Brock. Colby and her quickly become close. They meet there everyday. They fall in love under the Willow Tree. But Colby grows worried when Elle doesn't show for a week without any explanation.
