Hey, my name's Arthur Harkon.
I live my life like the rest of you. Well, not really, I live like a total loser. My reason for this is... kind of valid I guess? I spend almost all of my time inside, barely eating anything, showering like, twice a week and wearing nothing but tracksuit pants and jumpers because I'm a vampire.
I'm trying my hardest to reject my dark past and become "a good vampire" so to speak.
It's been... an interesting experience to say the least (not sure how, but you humans keep surprising me with all your different kinds of weird) and you get to read it, right here!

Our army and world leaders were killed or imprisoned in less than a couple of days. They slaughtered my race, but it didn't stop there. No, that was only the beginning of human suffering. Trust me when I say the death was truly a kindness, because anyone who survived the awakening, would beg for death. I was positive that my suffering would come to an end when I turned eighteen. I was hoping and praying to be marked as a feeder, nothing more, nothing less. Death was the only way out of this world. You see, all of the kings who ruled over the earth were cruel and calculating. " I scrub and scrub trying to make it go away. I'd happily go back to walking around internally dead than whatever this is. Watching the crimson substance go down the drain and off my skin- out of sight, out of mind, except it's not going away. I hated that pain was temporary but this... this pain I don't want it. I don't want to feel this. Tears begin to well in my eyes making my vision blurry. Weak. Anger surges in my veins and impulsively my fist connects with a tile on the wall of the shower shattering it. This is emotional. I don't do that. I don't do this- I don't cry in the shower. I don't let my emotions dictate my actions I haven't in a long time. It's stupid. It's childish. It's weak. I glance down at my knuckles on my right hand, watching the tiny cuts heal. Shouting, I punch the tile over and over and over again until blood runs down my arm and drips onto the shower floor. I reach my severely broken hand out under the water, momentarily stinging as water hits the open wounds which unfortunately close over seconds later. I crack whatever bones need it, back into place and look around me. The back wall of the shower is destroyed, shards of tile and blood scattered on the floor. As I stand under the scalding hot stream staring into nothing my mind falls silent for a split second. A few seconds of solace until everything comes crashing back. The tightness in my chest and my stomach, the cloudiness in my brain, the anger, the sadness. It all comes back. I sit down away from the shattered pieces of tile, curling my legs up and letting the near boiling water hit my back. There was a feeling of relief in losing everything I was. Whatever it is that has clawed it's way to the surface, I want it gone. I want that relief back. "Завершенная история

For thousands of years, humans lived and thrived with the naive belief that they were the only ones who existed. There were humans that did believe and sought to find out the truth. It is rare that a human is aware of the world that lives among them. Silent and ever watching as eternity stretched out before them. ------------------------------------------ UPDATED NOTE: Hey guys, I am so sorry I just disappeared for a while. Life went chaotic so mental stability was not in the plan for a long time. Now, this is going to be going through some adjustments because it has been so long since a lot of the original events that I planned actually happened in my life plus a lot of new ones. So, bear with me, I hope the ones who liked my book so far still stick with me as I struggle through this. Thank you so much and let us hope 2022 goes better in terms of my writing! Riona. In case you haven't guessed by now, that's me. This is my story. And I'm going to start from the very beginning, so you can get the full picture. They say we're not defined by our past. But I believe that the past is what makes you who you are. It moulds you. It sticks with you no matter how far ahead in life you get. And then, it catches up to you, putting you in a chokehold you can't possibly get out of. In my case, my past is very messy. I don't like it, but I also can't seem to shake it off. Almost ten years down the line, and I'm still in the same position, making the same decisions. I thought I'd changed. I thought I was better. Little did I know, that I was just building up to get worse. I'm not like most people, I don't function the same way you do but I believe that it is for the best. Mandy Sciara. That's my name. I'm just one of the many common American girls in Atlanta. Do I have hobbies? Only if daydreaming counts as one, then yes, I have a hobby. But this time it's different. It's dreaming on a whole new level: reality, apparantly. Have I ever heard stories of mythical beings? Actually yes. Once or twice I did, though I am not a huge fan. But have I ever believed those stories would actually be true? Nó, I mean, who would? Yet, just one night changes it all. After I thought my day couldn't get any worse, I meet a guy which has more than necessarily showed me to have no restraint at all. But the mysterious jet-black haired guy with the penetrating, amber eyes wasn't someome unfamiliar. I had already seen him somewhere.. but what do I know him from again? Then there's Sam, apparantly his older cousin - the wiser one with the better intensions. At least, that was my first impression.. FYI: English is not my native language. I'm Dutch. "Shift." His voice hit me like a serrated blade as he stepped out of the crude semicircle of hardened wolves that had formed around me. I pushed myself off of the cold floor for what felt like the thousandth time that day, wiping the small trail of blood coming off of my lip and down my chin. "I won't ask you again." My limbs felt like lead, these wolves had been at me for hours trying to get me to shift into my wolf, unbeknown to them was that their efforts would forever be futile considering the fact my wolf wouldn't make an appearance for me even when I begged. I seriously doubted she would suddenly pop up as a result of their abusive tactics. Instead of explaining my circumstances, driven by a bizarre combination of adrenaline and fatigue, I leaned back on my heels and sent the largest loogie I'd ever conjured flying over and landing squarely between the eyes of the man before me. oOoOoOoOoOo As a late bloomer who was incapable of shifting yet, let alone making any contact with her wolf, Olive Ludovic's life was not off to the best start. Growing up, constantly being tormented and taunted by those around her forced Olive to grow a tough skin and work even harder, despite the fact she was without her wolf. When her home is taken over by a dark pack, life seems to only get worse for Olive as it is quickly discovered that her mate is none other than Matteo, the Alpha of the very pack that was terrorizing her people.
