When 16 year old Brenna, her older brother Wyatt, and some friends go to visit there Aunt for the summer Brenna gets herself in more trouble than ever when she meets Matt. Matt is constantly getting into violent meetings with a group of strange guys and Brenna always seems to be interupting them. As Matt and Brenna's friendship grows Brenna develops stronger feelings toward him constantly trying to unravel the secrets of his last summer here. Why are these guys tracking him? Why does he owe them money? and why won't he tell her? Brenna soon gets dragged into the most dangeorous situations of her life as her and Matt get closer, Pftt and her parents thought leaveing her home alone was dangerous.
