Persephone was not dead.
He had waited so long. Hoped so long. And finally Hades had proof that his love was truly not dead.
But at what cost?

Thea does not know what to make of the nightmare she had the first night she slept in her new dorm. Neither does she have any memory about the new tattoo on her neck. Is it a weird ballerina? Is it a trident? Hell knows.
The only thing she's sure of is that if she finds out, her life will change forever.

A goddess is taken to the underworld as the king's bride; her father knew everything and her mother knew nothing. In this retelling of the Hymn of Demeter, mother and daughter will do whatever it takes to free themselves, no matter the cost. Book I of The Triple Moons' Chronicles * Up in the sky, in a world between myths and lies, lives a daughter caged on an island. She is Persephone. The beautiful Persephone, whom every Olympian god wants to marry-they all want her beauty to conceal their ugliest secrets, but only Hades manages to take her to his realm. He dwells below the earth, across the river Styx, between Tartarus and the Isle of Blest. No mortals can see his forbidden land until they pass away. Forced into marriage by her father Zeus, Persephone would resign from her fate. But when her grieving mother, Demeter, comes close to killing all the mortals, Zeus orders her back to her homeland. Given and returned against her will, Persephone takes charge of her life and eats six pomegranate seeds before leaving. Food from the underworld can't be eaten as it will tie one to the land. As her decision pushes her closer together and apart from her loved ones, Persephone's destiny turns worse. Only she may have the power to change her world for the better. *** CW: While written in a lyrical style, this story is advised for mature audiences only. Isolation can be devastating. But love...can destroy everything around you. For Persephone, isolation is being kept under the suffocating gaze of her mother, treated like a child and forbidden from interaction with her own kind or the mortal people under her care. For Hades, isolation is a deadly gift, a silent and lifeless kingdom that he alone rules -- and that cuts him off from all that he would consider family. But when the winds of chance throw two love-starved souls together, it heralds the end of the universe as they know it.... #1 in HadesxPersephone (09/18/22) #2 in Persephone (09/27/22)
