This is the english version of my very short story of the same name. Check my profile page for the original one. ------ It's a reconstruction of a part of a text written by an unidentified soldier of the Royal 22nd Regiment of the First World War, during his participation in the Battle of Flers-Courcelette, held in September 1916. This memo has been poorly maintained and kept in very poor conditions for decades. TAKE NOTE: The local archival team has kept a promise to be faithful to the notebook's content as much as possible.
