The World Government had made strives in the field of science through genetic engineering came the recreation of Straw Hat Luffy's Gear Second. The process of heightened senses, increased strength, and super speed wore down the host's heart at a drastic rate.

Trafalgar Law became Warlord of the Sea, but the promotion came with a catch; His devil fruit allows the impossible to happen, and just like his nickname, the Surgeon of Death, he is tasked with keeping the host alive. He wants to back out of this title, but can't leave you to suffer the experiments.
