Bolten grabbed my hand once more, but more firmly this time. "Vivian I know this is going really fast, but we're meant to be. You're my mate and we are going to spend the rest of our lives together. You're mine."

Vivian Jones is an 18 year old girl who has had a rough life. Her mother died, her father ditched her, and even her boyfriend Matt is apart of making her life hell. Vivian's friend Sheila suggests breaking up with Matt because of his abusive ways. When Vivian tries to explain why she must break up with him, things go terribly wrong, and Vivian does the only thing she could do, flee to Colorado, and take Sheila with her. It doesn't take long before they both stand out, and catch the attention of two guys that seem to be strangely interested in them. "Mine" is a word Vivian constantly hears ever since she met Bolten, a hot, cocky, possessive guy that follows her like a lost puppy.
