I stared at his soulless eyes, looked through his cold heart, inside he was missing something I could not seem to figure out.

"I guess it's because I have a soft spot for you"

I turned around and started walking down the hall, each footstep, each sound, each word, beginning to feel like a mission, a mission that could never come to an end.

Haven is an angel fallen from heaven, though she had no idea of what she was. One blue night, the full moon, when Haven was sent to Earth. As Haven begins her journey of high school, the new things attract Haven, especially a specific boy, Rad Wiles, the more she spends apart from him, the more she wants to spend time with him. This has Haven questioning her mortality.
