Seventeen-year-old Jordan Cross is in trouble. He blew up his school (though he's not quite sure how) and let himself get kidnapped(or forcefully taken, as the kidnapper insists) by a Bus Driver! He gets taken to a place called the HUB where people like him are trained and sent on missions to help others. Jordan is told that he, and everyone in the HUB, are superhumans. Jordan receives training in HUB to master the powers he didn't realize he had. He begins to make new friends and find his place in the HUB. But being a superhuman isn't as fun as Jordan thought. Superhumans everywhere start to disappear and nobody has a clue where they go. The HUBs director, Nadera, decides to assign a special mission to Jordan. With the help of his friends(a boy with healing powers and a heart of gold, two genius telepathic twins with a love for pranks, a small but threatening girl with the ability to manipulate shadows, a bus driver armed with a... candelabrum? Chaperoned by a self made billionaire shapeshifter.) He embarks on a mission to save the missing Gifteds, and find out Where They Went.

Wren and Kenna hated each other in high school. Now mature-ish adults, they still hate each other. The problem? They're engaged. A year away from marriage, according to two of the most powerful people in the world: their parents. ***** Wren Castile and Kenna Gold are engaged...because their parents say so (and no, they're not kidding). Wren has one year to marry her former nemesis, or else. The fact that Kenna emulated her infamously anti-gay father throughout high school seems to be irrelevant--even to Kenna herself. Suddenly Wren and the girl she never wanted to see again are on the same (bickering) side as they face mandatory dates, disastrous family get-togethers, and their unhappy past. Wren is filled with mistrust, but to protect her heart, she might just have to sit back and let it lead the way.
