Rai Kusanagi had a hard life in his hometown in the U.S. He along with six other kids were the only ones who had quirks and everyone made them feel like freaks at school. All of that changed when he moved to Japan, for better and worse. Better because his father was a well respected hero and best friends with the number one hero All Might, he felt more welcomed there, and he ended up becoming best friends with Izuku Midoriya to the point where he viewed him as a brother. But worse because his father was later killed by a villain shortly before. Now with the drive to become a hero and ensure no one else is put through the same hell as him, and also wanting to help Izuku be the next successor of All Might, he begins his journey to becoming a great hero.
He also has a thing for Mina Ashido....yes that is somewhat important.

You don't know how or why, but you've been isekai'd into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. Although your first instinct is to stay far away from the plot, you've been blessed with an abnormal amount of cursed energy, and for better or worse, you find yourself sucked into the storyline. You decide that you may as well use your newfound powers for the greater good, and if you're lucky, you might succeed in rewriting some of the characters' fates. But it turns out that your presence in this world is even bigger deal than you first thought, and soon, everyone wants to make you theirs.
