I mean, maybe you like it in there," he continued, as she stared at the door separating them, "but, in case you don't, I'd like to offer my company."
Instead of panicking, Liza could only focus on four words he'd said.
'Our own little world.'
How had he known?
She was in her own little world, consisting of her, her dog, the condo, and now, maybe . . .?
