It's always a Prince Charming that looks for his Cinderella. But what if the roles get switched, and Cinderella finds his shoe? In this case, it's a pair of black Converse, and Prince Charming can sing like an angel.
This is a story that depicts the life of a group teenagers in high school-- crushes, craziness, laziness, mistakes, and more-- from Stella Jackson's point of view, as she looks for the identity of the beautiful voiced man in black Converse shoes.

Sweet Dreams: A Modern Fairytale
This is inspired by a writing project I supervised when I worked with an elementary student. This writing project was a group project to make their own spin on a fairy tale assigned to the group. It had to have all the main points of their fairy tale, start and and with the common phrases of a fairy tale, and it had to have their own creative spin. My student did Cinderella, and it was so fun to work with him and his group, I wanted to make my own. Our dear Cinderella loves to bake, but she's not exactly looking for love when an opportunity to make a name for herself comes up. As for Prince Charming, he is looking for love, just not in the usual fairy tale fashion. And as usual, there's some extra mischief from the step family, royal family, and fairy godmother.
