Kiera has been in and out of various foster houses since she was seven. Her life was very aloof from any other ordinary kid. She never got what she wanted, never had really loving parents and never wished for anything.
She just wanted to be independent.
So, when, just a few months shy from turning eighteen, she's sent off to a new foster house in Manhattan, she enters the house with five thoughts.
Be calm.
Don't get punished.
Don't cause any tantrums.
Don't get friendly.
And get the hell out.
But what she doesn't realize is that the house is very different from the other houses she's ever been to. She was about to get furious, get punished, cause tantrums, get friendly and worse...fall in love.
But life isn't a fairy tale. Not every story is supposed to have a happy ending... or does it?
