Brothers Elladan and Elrohir live normal lives by their father's standards, but both twins struggle to accept the way Elrond raises them. When a demon possesses Elrohir, according to Elrond, their lives change forever.

The twins seek someone who can protect them from Elrond. Someone with patience and love. Will their injured hearts ever know love, or will they fade from the cruelty Elrond views as fair?

    Third in the Nin Chronicles.

Won Second Place in the Summer Awards 2019. The war is over and Sauron is defeated, driven back by the last Alliance of Men and Elves. Thranduil and his wife are raising their four children in Mirkwood. But Thranduil's troubles are not over yet for never before could he have imagined his gifts could cause such a rift to open in the ties of family love or cause one he loves to be cruelly injured. Legolas Greenleaf, left behind in the shadows of his brothers, struggles to come to terms with his new life, unable to accept his father would order the pain on his shoulders upon him. He navigates the darkness, fighting to see hope, and struggling to find the courage to face his father, who may not be responsible in the end for his suffering at all. Third in the Benders Series. All with the exception of Legolas and Thranduil belong to me.
