Kristen Jacobs is the lead snare drummer in the Marching Band. All the drummers follow his lead, no matter who you are. Now, when the Colour Guard has to practice with the Band, things go into chaos. "I'll never march with dancing flag poles!" Angelina Jackson, a Mellophone player, growled. Saige Warner nodded, soaking her reed. She pulled it out of her mouth and finished getting her Alto Saxophone ready. "Yeah," She glared at a Colour Guard member that was eyeing her reed. "Try it, and I'll shove that flag so far down your throat, you won't even get it unstuck using Cork Grease!" The flagger backed away, weary of both the Mellophones and Saxophones. "And they keep taking my mouthpiece!" Alex Estrada yelled, holding up his trombone that was missing the mouthpiece. "That's a mouthpiece? Gross! Take it!" Marsha Hines shrieked, throwing it back at him. Alex dove forward, catching it. "Colour Guard! Line up! We treat the Marching Band like we treat the Footballers. Ignore until respect is earned!" A sharp voice cut through the argument. The leader of the flaggers stepped forward. Kristen's heart skipped a beat. ****Ranted #40 in flags as of August 18, 2019****
