Luna Baker was your average 14 year old girl. Had friends, liked music and books. Had a good family. That was until her Mother got a rare illness and died two year back. After that she changed, she was more guarded, more aware. Like she could feel the presence of death every where. Luna became sad and angry with the world because she lost her mother. So she turned to alcohol. Luna still went to school and put a "smile" on her face and acted like everything was allright. Until Josie Pye entered the equation. She tormented Luna about her Mother and how much of a pain she was. How she would always look so pale and Dead inside. Her friends Anne, Dianna and Cole try to help her, but she built her walls to high. Though thier may just be someone who can take them down. Gilbert Blythe.
