Katrina Reed, or Kat, was a normal kid, with a normal life. But when she was 6, her parents died in a car crash. For two years she was in and out of foster homes. Until one day, at the age of 8, she got kicked out of her 19th foster home and was forced to live on the harsh streets of New York. In order to survive she had to learn to fight and fend for herself. When she turned 16 she got into a high tech weapons trade business to make some money.
Until she was 18 she stayed with them, but one day a bomb went off in the warehouse where they kept the weapons. She was the only one out of 20 to survive. Due to extreme chemical intake and pieces of technology from weapons and computers getting lodged into her brain, she developed the abilities to control people and mess with their minds, move things with her mind, and control technology.
She lied about the explosion and why she was there saying she was a hostage. When the hospital cleared her to go, she went into hiding until she was 27. She mastered her abilities and became more advanced in fighting. Then one day, she has to expose herself and her powers to save a group of civilians.
With SHIELD hunting her down, how long will it take before they find her and turn her into their personal weapon. Or will they do something else with her?
