Freya is seventeen when her mother passes away. A visitor named cancer had not been a stranger to their family and had set foot in their warm home as an unwanted guest. With her father being unable to accept his wife's death and Freya feeling captured within the walls of her home, she feels there must be more to life than living with a mentally absent father and the ghost of her mother. The journey she undertakes is one of self-discovery, of tripping over and seeing the fragmented existence she leads, finding the meaning of true love, but most importantly, realizing that life beholds something far more magical. Something she had before been too blind to see.
