Izaya has an abusive father who forces Izaya to live with him and only lets him out to work. Izaya puts up with it just to protect his family. Shinra is the only one who knows, and is Izaya's best friend. Shizuo of course, is Izaya 's hopeless crush who goes too far one day and causes the flea's mask to crumble, revealing a face littered in huge, ghastly scars....
