Misty has always been the town outcast every since her parents died in a horrible fire three years ago. Everybody chooses to ignore her whenever she’s around, but as soon as she’s gone they gossip like no other, but when a mysterious boy is brought to the same orphanage she lives at the town has something new to gossip about. The fact that he is a new orphan isn’t why everybody is talking about him. The reason their talking about him is because he weirdly looks just like Misty just in male form. You would automatically think they were twins, but that’s impossible because Jamie is an only child and her parents never told her about some long lost twin brother. Also the fact that he keeps following her around like a lost puppy and wont leave her alone until she agrees to go back with him is pissing her off. Where does he want to take her? She doesn’t even know. If only he would just follow the rest of the town and pin her as an outcast and just leave her alone. Follow Misty on a journey filled with her past demons (literally) and finds out the truth of what really happened to her when she was two years old. Outcast is full of adventure, suspense, love, deceit, heartbreak, and death. ENJOY! ^_^

Outcasts takes place in a dystopian world in an undetermined year in the future, and the political parties depicted in this story - the Republicans and the Democrats - are in no way, shape or form a commentary on their real-life counterparts. I had very little knowledge of American politics when I wrote this story, and if I could go back and change their names I would. Throughout the story you will read of absurd flaws in both party agendas, and in no way did I ever intend to shame or defame the real life Republican and Democratic parties of America. I wrote the story while I was still in high school, so now that I'm older rereading it, I definitely agree. However, I do still like my story and want people to enjoy it, so I felt the need to rewrite some of it. Beth hushed Emma, "but I'm not your mother, and Matt was not your father". Emma wouldn't hear it "Mom stop I always knew deep down I was adopted. It's okay you are still my parents." Beth needed to tell her the whole truth "Emma, you were not adopted you were given to us. Matthew and I were to raise you, and then give you back". Emma cut her off "What are you talking about mom? Stop talking this way. It's just the medications you're on. We'll talk later when your better and have had time to rest". Beth wouldn't rest "No, listen to me we don't have time. Don't trust them. Don't trust any of them". As the story unfolds Emma is faced with the death of her mother Beth. An unknown Uncle James steps up to offer his support to his now destitute niece per the request of his distant sister. Emma, following the wishes of her deceased mother, agrees to follow James back to their family's home town of Linden, Michigan. Beth's dyeing words haunt Emma as she struggles to adapt to her new surroundings. The reappearance of a man she had met in a brief kiss between strangers takes Emma off guard. As she deals with her life and the truth of whom or what the object of her affection is unveils the truth of her own existence. The world she thought she knew is forever changed.Complete
