Hidden in the shadows of the world for eons, two species protected the Earth in its turn of seasons. A dark, foreboding race called the Neprimirim ruled during the coldest of seasons and brought the ice and snow with their wrath - but once the warm seasons arose, so did the Dŭrvos. However one long, cold winter the Prims got tired of sharing their rule and froze the Earth into the foreseeable future creating the apocalyptic event that would be known as 'The Frost'. Wiping humanity from existence the King of the Prims held The Frost for 35 years until his sudden murder stopped the completion of power transfer to his son Jax. With the unwarranted death the Dŭrvos were able to escape their underground ice traps and while they lost many of their new saplings and younger beings they will now use it as fuel for the war to come. With the Earth half riddled in layers of crystal and half blossoming in overgrowth the two species may have to come together to defeat a greater force; the murderer of Jax's father. As Nora, Calla, Derek and Jax find themselves unlikely allies, secrets unravel and the Earth may not be the only thing warming up to the idea of peace.

(BOOK THREE IN THE FROST SERIES) Being a king wasn't easy. The title of king held a lot more responsibility than most seem to realize, and there were drawbacks that would deter people from wanting such a heavy title. Delkele never wanted to be king, never even wanted to be associate with such a title. However, his mother deemed him worthy of ruling over Planet Naraka even though he wasn't the firstborn. He hates being king, hates all the responsibilities that came with it. More often times than not, his own people blame him for the most mundane of things and often curse his name, despite him being the only one to defend them. And now, he has a proposal to marry the princess of a military based planet, a planet that could finally allow the Narakkans to live in peace. But he doesn't love her. He was in love with someone else, someone who knew most of his secrets. The only man who knew the man behind the mask. And now he's being forced to chose between duty...and love. Will he make the right decision? Or will his choice cost him the lives of innocents?
