Esme Rose was always different from her sister. while her sister always did what she wanted, Esme always did what has to be done. Which left her with the great burden of taking care of her sister's child. 

As she made the promise to always protect and cherish the child like her own. Afraid and alone Esme turns to help from the child's father's wealthy family pretending to be mother of the child. 

Then she meets Edward North who is the man of the family and always seems to be suspicious of her, Esme must stay strong and live this lie to fulfil her sister's dying wish.

But will she be able to make it work with all the people around suspecting her and wanting her to leave?
