In the year 2013, a miracle vaccine is developed that is proven to help stop almost any malevolent disease such as any Flu, Spanish Fever, Malaria, etc. It is made cheaply, so in turn, sold cheaply, all throughout the world. Almost five billion people purchase and recieve the vaccine. little do they know, the Vaccine is not what they think it is. A few never took the vaccine, including three teens named Cypress, Annabelle and Adelaide. They now live in the desolate and abandoned New York City, six years later, battling a new evil that ironically was made by the medicine that could have saved mankind.

-This is only a rough draft of my story I am currently working on the final draft so it will be much different in the final draft- After the events of the toxic woman, Gloria Ramirez, more and more people became "toxic", but as time went on and the earth began to fail due to global warming and pollution, the toxic virus began to change as well. No one really knows when it happened, but around the age of 25 and no later than 35, people began to become toxic, as if it was embedded into the entire human race's genetics. Some say this was caused by mass radiation poisoning, others say this is God's way of punishing us for our sins, but one thing we do know is that when you do become toxic, you don't just become sick and die, you become a zombie. This story follows six young adults as they discover some scary truths about themselves, and have to learn to survive on their own stuck in an abandoned city full of the one thing that can't die, because it already is dead. -This is a story I originally wrote for my English class, where we wrote stories based on real events. This can be a sensitive topic so if it may trigger you in any way you can always just step off my page, I won't feel hurt at all- Word Count: 17521

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry.
