When sixteen year old Alex and her little brother Jamie are sent away by their guardians to a group home that they claim to be for `developing` their knowledge of the world, Alex would haev never guessed what they really meant. She sees things she is not supposed to see, and becomes aware of the monsters that lurk all around us. When Alex meets Lacey, Liam, Collin and Jenna, she begins to notice that while inside the group home, people begin to change and no for the best.
