Lance always thought he was the weak link in the team, the runt, a seventh weel, and after a difficult mission and a particularly loud lecture from the team, Lance decides that leaving would be his best option for the time being. He plans his departure and a month later he's flying away in a new ship. The team, after realizing what Lance did, go looking for him (minus Coran who stayed with the ship) but things don't go as planned.
