In a different type of world, dogs can communicate with one another and are capable of complex thought, just as humans. As the human race advanced in both technology and state of mind, "Man's Best Friend" has been pushed aside, and what was known about canines has been hidden deep down. Suddenly, the interesting mammals have sparked interest once again. In an effort of a high-tech and modern experiment, a group of dogs are selected and put into an arena to fight to the death in an effort of seeing how they work. Or how to manipulate them.

Australia was once a country with Carnivores and Herbivores coexisting with the Omnivores. Humans, considered class Omnivores, came out with a strange pathogen. During the first week, humans were infected with a virus showing cannibalistic behaviour only to their own species. Biting. Eating the flesh of ones own species. Violent behaviour. It baffled scientists at it's cause, wondering what it is. Animals however, were invisible to the infected Omnivores. Humans were ignoring the Herbivores and Carnivores. Until, they too got infected. Somehow they did. Whatever caused it, they can see both human and animal as their prey. Even if their prey are carnivores. The army lost control within the first month. Airports shut down in areas nearby, while flights didn't dare to go back to Australia. No other country was willing to take Refugees. But one showed compassion and opened it's doors.
