Shewolf

She felt drawn to him. His six-foot frame towered over her meager five foot nine inches. His brown eyes captured hers and held them there. The pools of brown reflecting the moonlight. His curly hair was messy, no doubt due to the woman that had been tugging at his silky locks. She examined his every feature, from his high cheekbones to his pink lips all the way down to his build which she didn't despise.

Her wolf felt close to this man, though she was still unsure of whether to trust him. This may have been a trap for all she knew. She could have been drugged and these senses were merely an illusion.

As he stalked closer to her, eyes filled with heat she stared right back. She was not going to wither under his eyes no matter how uncomfortable the desire they held had her.

As he moved closer to the light, Adira recognized how attractive he truly was forgetting all about the shewolf he had been entertaining.

Then he spoke the one word she dreaded, "Mate."
