Being an outcast isn't easy. Having to be shoved and pushed around every single day by people, one being my half sister, has to be the worst feeling in the world. Nobody felt that i was needed until Zach came into my life. Sometimes I cry myself to sleep thinking that i’m useless. Lyla is a 16-year-old girl that went through many obstacles in her life. Lyla grew up with a half sister, Jessica, that always thought she was never good enough. Even though she gets the best grades, she wakes up to the most horrible names. Because of the experiences she went through with her ex- boyfriend, Carter, she has trust issues. She thinks most boys are bastards because of what her dad did to her, but she learned to live with it. Zach is also 16. He’s captain of the football team, popular, and Lyla’s neighbor. He’s against bullying so he would always stand up for them. He believes that no one deserves it. Him and Lyla met when Lyla was being bullied by his friend. All he can do was feel pity for her so he went up to them and stood up for her. And since then, they’ve been inseparable.
