    Shoto Todoroki has been abused by his father, Enji Todoroki, or Endeavor 10 years of his 15-year life.  He resented Endeavor for child neglect, family abuse, and basically raping his wife to have him. Because Endeavor was such a bad person and was still loved by people who had no idea, Todoroki refused to use his fire. His father decided to starve him on multiple occasions.
