In a small, quiet port town, where the countryside is visible. A less attractive-to-life girl, Kiyoko Hamasaki, strangely loves being near the shore.
Recently, she has been diagnose with a rare liver disease with less than a year to live.
Yasu Tanaka, a boy whom lost someone important to him, has been viewing the world in a haze. Only to be hiding his suffering from his closest friends.
One day, Yasu follows Kiyoko to the shore. Yasu happens to be her love interest. However, she already has a boyfriend whom she doesn't love.
Kiyoko speak these words to him; "Once the Tide goes out, I will Disappear."
Her secret will change his life forever. Before he knew it, his world started to move forward again.
Slowly as time passes, he started to realize that their time together... won't last forever.

Shoyo's grades dropped lower than hell till the end of Middle School. Determined to find a good High School with a volleyball team, he searched online. He smiled for once in many months when he found out about Karasuno Haigh School: Home of the Crows, where he would soon meet Tobio Kageyama. When Tobio and Shoyo's growing friendship starts to fade into a romantic state, things got worse for Shoyo at home, causing him to cut himself, having suicidal thoughts. Tobio, clueless of how much Shoyo was hurting, started to brainstorm ideas how to confess to Shoyo. Suddenly, his world shattered when Koshi Sugawara called him, saying Shoyo was about to jump off the school roof. Will Tobio confess his heavy love to Shoyo while trying to get him to change his mind....or will we keep his mouth shut and think of other ways to get him to re think his choices..?
