Eva is admitted to a mental health facility after trying to commit suicide. To her it seems a lot like a jail. Will therapy and medication even work? What's the point? She doesn't have anything to live for, not since her mothers death.....or does she? This book deals with suicide, mental illness, family problems, abusive relationships, step fathers, and a boy named Tate.

This is my account of my most recent hospitalization. Most people think that mental rehabilitation facilities are just vacation spots. Well, they are dead wrong. Psychiatric hospitals are very tense environments, and I decided that I'd like to share my full experience with everyone. It was one of my worst stays, and I think sharing my experience will help others to understand what people who struggle with mental illness go through. I will change names for privacy, but everything else you read in this story is true. I hope you enjoy!
