Set in modern day Singapore, a matchmaker's son reveals his woes in his mother's endeavors to help, no, make him find "the one".
Jimmy, a 25 year old bachelor, just returned from his studies abroad. He returns as a Secondary school teacher, and with his brains and "brawn", he would have no trouble finding a girl. Thing is, his mother refuses to have a "sampat" girl as her daughter-in-law (but to her, every 20 year old girl is sampat), especially due to her top notch reputation as a matchmaker that she has withheld for over 30 years now. However, Jimmy doesn't even know if he wants to get serious just yet.
A story about a guy trying to find his way in life, and his shrewd of a mother making sure he is.
