Rai Sunshyne comes from a dysfunctional family. Her father beat her mother to death, her brother ran away and her sister is a whore.
Her father also beats her, and soon he will sell her to the highest bidder.
Until he is caught hunting in the Forbidden Woods. Then he makes a deal with the Guardians of the Woods, and hands over Rai to them.
The guardians are actually three werewolf brothers, that protect the woods that they live in. When they make a deal with a little troll of a man, for his daughter, they expect her to be a scared mouse of a girl.
What they get is Rai.
