It's been about 10 years since they all graduated high school...How are their lives...well...

Magnus graduated NYU with a major in music. He then rediscovered his love for fashion and works with Isabelle at her fashion company "Just so Iz" In the afternoon he then works with Alec who is the singing teacher at Shadow Institute High. But he really does mostly music.  

Magnus is soon hit with a surprise that he never knew.

Alec Lightwood-Bane thought after becoming the archangel Remiel that life would settle back into normalcy. For a few months, he was not wrong. Magnus, his family (both old and new) and himself were able to continue on with their daily lives, taking the time to have fun together in a moment of peace. Unfortunately, that moment was only meant to last for so long. The Dark Order, thought to be long gone has risen once more. They are sure to bring death and destruction, all in search for a power that was believed to be long gone before but has recently returned. Alec has had experience with this group in the past, as have Daniel, Pippa and Harry respectively. The siblings tell him the truth: that he wasn't awakened just because of them, and that a dark evil will rise that he will be called to fight. Alec must now struggle to prepare for a battle he never asked for, all the while finding out the hidden truths unbeknownst to him. His world lays in uncertainty. Things are not as they seem. With new enemies come familiar faces, the traumas of the past come to life. Will Alec and his family be able to withstand the storm they bring? Or will they be lost in the waves of ruin sure to hit. And just who is Sara Herondale? What role does she play in all this mess? Alec is studying to be a lawyer at university at his father's insistence, but he wants to be a vet. He loves animals and reading. His father abuses him. He secretly helps Ragnor, a nearby vet. Here he meets Magnus, a writer who also has his own demons, and their adventure begins Completed NOTE: a year later: (My English has improved, and I hope my writing has too) So that was the first one. I would write it differently today. Nevertheless I'll leave it as I wrote it then. A bit clumsy, a bit inexperienced. Because I remember how much I wanted this. Set after Shadowhunters Season 2 Episode 12 And great inspiration from OnceUponATimeInRiverdale After when Magnus and Valentine switch back to their bodies, Magnus was still very terrified and upset about all the torture he had been when he was in Valentine's body, but Alec was always there for him whenever he feels sad and Magnus was so lucky to have a perfect boyfriend. But when Valentine was inside of Magnus's body, he started to feel like a connection he never felt before when he was with Jocelyn, and he felt like he and Magnus were meant to be together, and so Valentine have started to feel a dangerous obsession towards Magnus and vows to have Magnus heart and make him his king to rule the world. Alec wants nothing more but to protect the warlock he fall in love from the monster who wants to capture him for himself, and so Alec along with Clary, Simon, Isabelle, Jace, Raphael, and Maia all made a vow to protect Magnus from Valentine and his Circle Shadowhunters until they are brought to justice, but capturing them will not be easy, and Alec and Magnus will both soon realize is that their love is as strong as ever and will soon realize how much they need each other.
