After Kendall's father dies suddenly, she spends her time studying and staying at home most nights.Her brother Zach was the only one who knew the truth about the day their father died,and he hopped on the first plane to LA before the funeral. It's 8 months later, Kendall is graduating high school and Zach is back in town for the first time since his fathers death, stirring up some unwanted confrontations. When Kendall's best friend Hailey suggests they sneak away to NYC to see some local bands play. It's completely out of Kendall's comfort zone, but she needs a night of adventure, and that's exactly what she gets when she meets Harry.
