Screams pierced the night as I fled for safety.
They were coming. I could still hear my Mother's plea to set me free. I look at my watch.5 minutes. 5 minutes to get as far away from here as possible.5 minutes until they start the search for me. I could feel my heart racing as I hear the sound of a truck behind me. I hear gunshots. All of them missing the mark. I jump into a ditch. I hear the truck pass me. Then I feel a knife at my neck.
