Keith works at a video game store. He's lonely, his only friend is his brother figure, Shiro. Even Shiro is drifting away from him, for a girl, Allura. Meanwhile, he doesn't realize Allura has a plan to set him up with the cute boy who works at the makeup store across the mall from him.

Perdóname (Klance Angst)
Teased, pushed around, brushed off, alone: all words Lance McClain believes perfectly describes him. The phrases his "friends" use to prod and tease him cut deeper than they intend and he doesn't let the world see how broken he is. But Keith sees. Keith Kogane, Lance's best friend, has realised they've been growing distant and doesn't know how to talk to the person he's grown fond of and would trust with his life as his right hand man. All he wants is to fix Lance but Lance won't let him in. Earth is where they are heading and where they end up, their reunion at the Garrison with family and old friends sweet - but Lance just wants to go home and take a break from the people he's spent years in space with that he believes hate him. But when he does go home, he's caught off guard by a horrific surprise that sparks their next mission against their long-time enemy Sendak, intensifies Lance's own mental struggles, and causes the tipping point for the "slowburn romance" between he and his 'rival.' Taking place in the events after season six (and before seven), this is the story of Lance who's a boy with a broken heart and confused moral compass and of Keith, who's the boy to help Lance face his demons while he tries to conquer his own in the process. Keith hated himself for liking Lance. His limber build, the way he carried himself with shoulders raised and chin held high. His blue eyes, dark like the sea's deep, inky bottom. His tangled mess of dark brown hair that stood at odd angles, and never seemed to obey Lance's vigorous brushing. His smooth, light brown skin as he crinkled his nose, or batted the sand from his eyes on a particularly windy afternoon. Even his laugh, as loudly obnoxious as it was, Keith adored. And that was the worst part, because, unlike Keith, Lance hated him. With every word he uttered, an argument seemed to arise. Lance constantly joked and poked fun of Keith, determined to one up him in every way imaginable. So, in all retrospect, Keith had every right to detest Lance in return. But that was the thing: he didn't. Even as Lance stood before him on the worst days - face scrunched and reddened, throat hoarse from the shouting - all Keith thought as he stood stone faced, eyes locked on Lance's chattering lips, was: 'wow, I really want to kiss this shit-head.' And then he was both mad at himself and the world. Mad at himself for imagining Lance in ways he shouldn't, and mad at the world for allowing Lance to be in his life in the first place. It was torture. As powerful as a lash to the chest, or a hammer to the kneecap. Especially now, as Keith stood above Lance's cold, unflinching corpse. The dead boy's bony hands crossed over his chest, shoulders squared atop the white, velvet cushion that rested inside the opened coffin.
