Team RWBY's arrival in atlas becomes more hectic than ever when Ironwood begins panic about Cinder Fall being on the loose in Mantle. Ruby and the others begin to question wether or not Ironwood is hiding something. Meanwhile eighteen year old Cinder Fall has escaped the clutches of Salem and her faction after literally being controlled by one of Salem's most powerful members for the last two years and has taken a little girl named Hanako under her wing. However Cinder has unwillingly become a member of the dregs (the most notorious gang in Mantle) for protection from Roman and Neo who intend to hunt her down and take her back to Salem. Not only has Cinder become one of the gang's most prized members but Cinder has also become romantically involved with the crime boss's attractive and alluring nephew Kaz Blackkrow. Though Cinder refuses to join with Team RWBY because of her hatred of Ozpin, Cinder might not have a choice when the dregs turn on her. Then There's Whitney Huntriss-Wood, a mysterious girl who has a dark and mysterious past. She has her own reasons for coming to atlas and none of them are one hundred percent morally right.
