I was broken. She was perfect.
She wasn't like the other girls. She intrigued me, captivated me. When I first saw her across the room, I knew I had to talk to her-needed to be near her. That's why I followed her when she left suddenly, abandoning her friends and leaving the party. She was too quick for me to keep up, but when her screams tore through the night air, I broke into a sprint, needing to save her.
