He sat there, whimpering and paralysed. Fear consumed Mark and he tried to move, but found that he literally couldn't. He literally couldn't move.

"You are once again oblivious," Roman droned, sounding annoyed, "You can't even tell us what is off? You're supposed to know these things, Chad Broker." 

Virgil felt himself growing more anxious by the minute and he prepared himself for a panic attack if it were to come. He also wanted to punch Roman in the face for making a Nickleback reference, but he resisted all urges.

Ethan shivered, but it wasn't from the cold - unless you counted the stare that Anti was giving him as 'cold'.

*Completed* Virgil has never had it easy, not since he was kicked out of his home by his own father. He's struggled to survive, and has fought for food. He sees what should have been an easy meal, some berries on a tree hanging over the river. It should have been easy to get it, of course the stupid branch had to break and he was sent plummeting into the river. Roman loves to sneak away from his colony and his fae duties to head to the river, he's always wondered what is on the other side of it. Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off. The ships will be prinxiety and introlomociet (Remus x Logan x Patton x Janus) I will display trigger warnings at the beginning for every chapter as needed These characters belong to Thomas Sanders on YouTube, though there will be some OC's

I can feel my heart racing against my ribs as if it is about to tear itself out of my chest as I gaze into a pair of violet-silver eyes. They are locked onto my own with a predator's intensity. It takes every ounce of self-control I have to keep up this foolish staring contest, but I keep at it. I will not appear weak in my own court! The stranger does not blink but offers the tiniest of smirks, as if sensing my growing distress. I take in a deep breath and silently will some steel into my spine as I, at last, address him. "What is your name and what business do you have here?" The stranger grins and instead of bowing gives a mocking salute. His voice is soft and dark, carrying the promise of death, "I am, Lord Virgil and I have come on request of the king to help him against the growing threat." I swallow hard as he steps closer toward me, those uncanny eyes never leaving my face. "It would be wise if you stayed a safe distance away from me, Prince Roman. I bring nothing but pain wherever I tread." Virgil warns. Before I can reply he brushes past me down the hall toward the throne room, dark cloak fluttering behind him like a pair of wings. He just needed an apartment that would be okay with his job. Trying to keep to his price range and find what he needed was proving to be so much harder than he thought it would. This would be his first time moving somewhere that he didn't know the owners of the place beforehand. "Welcome to YouTube life, idiot." Virgil grumbled to himself. He picked up his phone again, going to close out of the app he was using, but suddenly a line on one that he hadn't looked at caught his eye. 'Must be willing to allow for eccentric work ethics and schedules, as owner of the apartment works independently online.' Virgil tapped on the listing and began to read. 'Four bedroom apartment, looking for up to three roommates. Apartments beneath and above are both empty at the moment, noise is not a problem so long as residents are courteous. Preferred that applicants are male.' Virgil stared at the listing. This was so... so perfect. He closed the app and tapped his messenger app. 'Hey Pat, I think I found something.' Disclaimer: I just reread A Lesson in Practicality by @residentanchor, so there might be some things ever so slightly similar to that, but if there are I am not doing it on purpose and I apologize. Virgil Anxiety Black was in his room recovering from a panic attack when the castle is stormed. His best friend, Remus Lucious, has just enough time to help him escape before throwing himself back into the battle in an effort to save his boyfriend and Virgil's brother, Crown Prince Janus. Virgil finds himself running through the woods and unknowingly crosses the border between his kingdom and the kingdom next door. There Virgil is found by Crown Prince Roman, Remus's semi-long not exactly lost twin. Not recognizing Virgil as royalty and only seeing the garbs that show him as a citizen of another kingdom Roman does what he thinks is best. He gives the poor boy a panic attack while simultaneously arresting him and throwing him in the dungeons. While Roman recruits the help of his two best friends to help him figure out who Virgil is and why he's in their territory Virgil is rightfully panicking over the recent events. After a few hurt feelings and a couple death stares the Light Realm learns what transpired next door. In an effort to help both kingdoms Roman's and Virgil (now acting King Virgil) make a truce and put aside their differences. Roman and his two friends, Marquess Patton and Lord Logan, join Virgil in this epic quest to save their brothers, and the Dark Realm kingdom. Like any great tale this book is filled with Fear! Love!
