What do you do when you're a homeless kid on the streets of Gotham? Becoming a criminal is SO straight-forward, so how about something new? Dick Grayson and Wally West, or better known as Robin and Finch, are robbers with a seemingly random pattern and motive. But what happens when a Bat figures out it's not so random, and these teen-aged criminals are not as "bad" as they make themselves out to be? One Young Justice encounter later, and the pair fight for their lives; their lives as either criminals or what they can become. I don't own DC or any references made in this. Reborn in TVD?!
I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. I got up, ate, showered and went to work. I was a police officer. I was checking out a house call about domestic abuse. I didn't even get to knock on the door before a man bursted out screaming at a women about calling the pigs on him. It didn't take much to figure out he was the abuser with the way he was holding her arm tight enough to bruise. I tried to diffuse the situation, told him to calm down and let her go. He didn't like that. In the end I got shot and died. Then I woke up in a small and dark space and freaked out. Then I get pushed out only to cry and realize I'm a baby. Oh, but not just anyone's baby. I'm Miranda and Grayson Gilbert's baby?! In 'The Vampire Diaries'?! What the fuck is happening?! Young Justice : The Story of a Self-Insert Esmeralda
I've always been an adventurous guy with a strong sense of justice. I take pride in the person I am, and always do what is right. And that is how I died, doing what was right. Protecting some kids from a drunken man with a gun in an alleyway. One shot, and it was over. Until it wasn't. Turns out, I was reborn in a world I didn't know existed. Young Justice, you know, the TV show? But that's not all, I was reborn in a small town in France that was located near a bell tower, looked down on gypsies, and was ruled by a judge with a god complex. Sound familiar? The strangest thing of all, I'm a gypsy myself. I'm a teenage boy, and my name is Esmeralda. OC dies and is reborn in Young Justice, but as a boy version of Esmeralda. The Hunchback of Notre Dame story is playing out in Young Justice, but perhaps with superheroes involved, the story will play out smoother? We'll see.
