A contemporary portal fantasy, "Percy Jackson" and "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" meet Studio Ghibli with a twist.
Following an intriguing retelling from her father, about a world called Aletharim where Hestia, Poseidon, Hades and Apollo reside, Hestia's Flame integral to its survival, twelve-year-old Clio is drawn into the forest behind her grandfather's house by a flickering ball of light which turns out to be Hestia's Heartflame. Pulled into a world that is not her own, she is thrown into a quest, and in a race against time to protect Hestia and the remaining parts of her Flame from a malevolent force that appears as a dark, flashing shadow. Will she be able to save them all, and Aletharim, in time while also learning to wield her emerging powers?
