This is a rough draft for the first chapter of a story I'm writing.
This chapter takes place in a snowy city where the unnamed main character wanders the empty streets. After stargazing for what seems like hours, he falls asleep in the snow.
In next chapter,(Which hasn't been written as of the moment I'm writing this) the protagonist awakens in a snowy forest in a fantasy world where he meets a motley crew of individuals. The rest of the story revolves around their interactions and adventures.
The primary goal of this first chapter is to serve as a sort of limbo or purgatory for the protagonist, before he arrives in the world which the main story takes place.
My main reason for posting this, is for feedback. Specifically, grammatical errors I could fix and whether this is an interesting story or not and I should keep writing.
Please leave feedback accordingly, no matter how harsh the comment. I would like to see it all.

Hey this is the first time I wirite a first novel, and I hope you like it. I mainly do this to get better in englisch, so there might be some grammatical mistakes or sentences that don't make sense. The novel is about the mc and his adventures. The story will be slow-paced and will sometimes have huge time jumps. The world will be kind of magical but there won't be giantig, world-destroining magics/ monsters. At least not now (Maybe in the future). Enjoy the story and I would greatly appreciate feedback on what to do better. The novel won't be updated regulary because I also have many things to do all day instead of writing. But I will not drop it and try to update it at least every two weeks. The chapters will have at least 1k words. I hope you enjoy the novel
All My Life
As the hero and allies go to face off against the dark forces in one epic battle, faulty architectural support leads our protagonist to the bottom of the pit where she must decide the fate of not only her people, but her enemies' as well. This story was written for a friend of mine fore Christmas in about a week and was also the first story I ever completed so I understand that the writing isn't the greatest but that's why I'm putting it here, to get constructive criticism to help further my writing knowledge. I also do know that a lot of the names are from other works but they were a reference for my friend to figure out to make the story a little bit more personal for here (and now I'm posting it for the public but she said I could). Furthermore, if you notice any inconsistency in the names, like 'Frisk' being written instead of 'Fritz', just let me know and I'll fix it. I was writing this after playing Undertale so I had that name in my mind and might not of caught every mistake I made.Complete

(I wrote this in middle school. The second and third installments of this book are better than this one tbh) Ever since I was little I had loved Christmas. When my parents told me Santa Claus wasn't real (I was around 11) I didn't believe them. I always believed he was there even now at 16. I don't know why I still do I just felt that somehow he was out there. I just felt that there was still magic out there. I also still believe in the tooth fairy, cupid, easter bunny, father time, mother nature, sandman, and jack frost. When my dad accidentally makes Santa fall off our roof. Then he puts on the coat and becomes Santa! We go to the North Pole and meet an elf named Bernard. He seemed like a business guy at first, but when he started talking to me he became really shy and bashful which I found adorable. What happens when Dad doesn't want to believe he is Santa Clause? Will me and my brother Charlie ever go back to the North Pole? Will I ever see Bernard again? And do we think of each other as friends or will it be something more?Complete

Like a hairbrush will do anything, right? The boy didn't seem to be armed with any weapons, but he did carry a wooden staff that hooked at the end. You eyed him carefully. But the boy was taken aback. "You can see me?!" He asked, almost in disbelief. You raised an eyebrow, "..Yes?.. You're not exactly hiding very well if this is hide n' seek," you stated back at him. "She can see me.." he said to himself, almost in shock, and then his face broke into an endless smile, "She can see me!" The boy did a backflip, which you admitted was impressive because you can't even do a cartwheel, and he landed back on his bare feet. "Sorry to interrupt this.. reunion you're having with yourself but, am I not supposed to see you, or?..." You trail off, but he understood you perfectly, almost as if he's gotten this question before before. You still had your guard up. "Okay, so I'm not exactly.. Human.. or alive.. Well I'm here but I'm not alive because I'm a Winter spirit. I make winter!" He stated. You both stared at each other for a minute or two in complete silence. Then you blinked. Twice even. "Uh.. What? A winter spirit?" He nodded, "Oh, like Jack Frost?" He smirked, and almost started laughing as he crossed his arms, "Snowflake, I am Jack Frost," ~*~ Y/n has had a troubled past, starting with her family passing away and having no friends, she lives alone in her house as a 16 year old girl. But when Pitch Black is back, she and the Guardians have to find a way to defeat him (again). However, when she bonds with a certain winter spirit, things can take a turn to impacting both her life and her heart.
